Child Benefit Number would Save You from Hassle

The Romeo family had problems on having a child or even making one. They were so engrossed on their work that they had forgotten how a wonderful household should be: joyful and full of love. Yes they loved each other but it was different when there are children. One day, Mr. and Mrs. Romeo were walking through the park to go to the nearby hospital to work when they saw these children running around with smiling faces. Mrs. Romeo stopped from her tracks and made her husband stop as well. “I wonder when we’ll have children…” It was true that she was engrossed with work but being a woman and married, she had times of starring through space and thinking of things unrelated to work.

A year and a half after that little incident at the park where Mrs. Romeo expressed her thoughts, they finally had their first child, Matthew. Upon reading at a newspaper about child benefits, they went to a nearby child benefit office and went to apply for it. For them to get approved for one, they should provide the necessary information and papers needed before they could attain one. After filing everything, they finally got child benefit for Matthew. They were given a Child Benefit Award notice as proof of them being awarded for getting Child Benefits. They were also given a child benefit number to be used in the future when they decide to get another child benefit.

The number would be useful to help locate their records without making it hard for the child benefit office. It would also help you with less hassle on filing for another child benefit for it would be enough to state the number on the claim form without needing to bring the child’s birth or adoption certificate with the tax credits claim form. Mr. and Mrs. Romeo kept the papers, took note of the number and decided to get another child benefit in the future.
